Professional Roles

TeacherTECH - I have been an instructor with TeacherTECH providing technology training and hands on workshops for the last 9 years.

Educational Technology Resource Teacher – I have been an Resource Teacher with the Educational Technology Department in San Diego Unified School District as the lead on the Enhancing Science Education Through Technology (ESETT) program for approximately 5 years time.  I am a specialist at infusing technology into teaching and learning for both teacher and student.

Center for Ocean Sciences Education Excellence California (COSEE CA) – I have been the Project Lead for the San Diego Unified School District in a collaboration with COSEE California.  This is a collaboration between the Educational Technology Department’s ESETT program and several different universities and research institutions as put forth on the COSEE CA web site.

Moodle Designer, Trainer, and Consultant – Over the past 4 years I have worked within the San Diego Unified School District scaling up our Moodle installation district wide.  This has included collaboration and planning on the hardware and software aspects of Moodle, extensive writing of Moodle online tutorials, plus ongoing support and professional development.  For the TeacherTECH program, I also provide Moodle support and professional development.  I also provide Moodle consulting services to universities, individuals, and organizations.
